Teacher and Substitute Teacher License information: 
Please log on to the following websites listed below for complete license application requirements.
Those applying for a Teaching License will do fingerprints when they apply for their license with CDE through their college. 
Those applying to SUB in our district must apply for a sub license through CDE (website link above) and also bring in two fingerprint cards and pay a $39.50 processing fee at the time they turn cards in. (Cash only please)  (Fingerprint Cards many be picked up at Central Office along with an application, or you may run a copy of the application off below.)
Please note:  One year, 3-5 Year Renewal and Initial Applications MUST be submitted on-line.  You will also need to make payment on line with a credit card, so please have that available when you apply. 
All other applicants applying to coach, cook or for maintenance positions in our district MUST do fingerprints through our Central Office.  Fingerprint Cards may be picked up at Central Office (17890 State Hwy 285, La Jara, CO)  between 8 am and 4 pm, Mon-Fri and cost is $39.50 cash.  (Must be paid at time you turn fingerprint cards in, please bring two sets of cards).  Application may also be picked up at Central Office or printed off below.

ANY ONE WITH AN EXPIRED TEACHING LICENCE  WHO WISH TO SUB MUST COMPLETE A 5 YEAR, 3 YEAR OR 1 YEAR SUB LICENCE APPLICATION. PLEASE REFER TO THE WEB SITE LISTED ABOVE.

Substitute Teacher Applications:  We are also accepting applications for Substitute teachers.  You need not have a teaching degree but you must hold a 1 year sub license, be able to provide evidence of successful experience working with children and submit fingerprints.  Please refer to the web site provided above or you may also call Lynnae with questions or email  lshawcroft@northconejos.com

Certified Teacher= Colorado licensed teacher/Counselor applicants

Non Certified= Coach,Custodian, Maintenance and Cooks
